Become a Regular African LEAF Giver of Hope

Would you like to make the difference in assisting some of the poorest and most disadvantaged young children in Africa reach their adult years and have the opportunity for a fulfilling life?

Could you make a small regular contribution – as a ‘Regular African LEAF Giver of Hope’ – to help change the life of impoverished children who would otherwise have no future?

Recurring Donation

You will appreciate that the resources required to meet our commitments with the children in Kenya are considerable.  Briefly …

• Managing individual sponsorships for 17 orphaned and vulnerable children from the slums of Nairobi. These sponsorships enabled them to initially attend the Rudolf Steiner Farm School at Mbagathi where children receive Love, Education, Acknowledgement and Food to enable them to develop to their full potential.  Currently only one of our children remains at the Steiner school.

• High-school costs for the remainder of our sponsored children who have now moved on from primary school into the Kenyan state system where they are either attending boarding high school or they have completed high school and are studying at college to help them achieve independence.

• We support individual early childhood projects (no government  funding for this in Kenya!).We are currently assisting a struggling kindergarten in Kalama, a village a few hours’ drive East of Nairobi. This initiative for African LEAF, replaced the Saints of Hope Kindergarten support, and the 34 children attending this rural kindergarten will benefit greatly from our involvement. • The unavoidable general administration costs and government fees imposed on us.

As with most charities, our fundraising has become increasingly difficult over recent years – particularly since the ‘GFC’. To continue our important work we are now asking you to help us by becoming an ‘Regular African LEAF Giver of Hope’.

For a suggested $20 or $30 a month (less than $10 a week) you can not only make a real difference to the lives of scores of destitute and severely underprivileged young children, you can also be assured your money is going directly to the children with absolute minimal administration cost.
